Cancellations and refunds

Questions about a property or service arrangement agreed separately from this website.
1. No property payment occurs on this site
These pages do not charge for browsing or preparing an enquiry. There is no deposit button, rental payment, booking charge or checkout to reverse here. If money has been paid in a separate property or professional-service arrangement, the cancellation question concerns that agreement, its responsible recipient and the protections applicable to it.
2. Identify the agreement before requesting a change
State the property reference, the kind of arrangement, the date and the business or person with whom it was agreed. Explain whether you are asking to cancel a viewing, a service, a reservation or a signed transaction. Those situations can have different practical and legal effects and should not be treated as interchangeable.
3. Deposits and fees require their own conditions
A separately agreed deposit, professional fee or other payment should have an identifiable purpose and conditions. This website does not create a blanket rule that every deposit is refundable or non-refundable. Read the actual terms and applicable obligations, identify the recipient and retain the payment evidence before drawing a conclusion from a general website notice.
4. Explain a discrepancy with the property or service
If a concern relates to an inaccurate description, unavailable property or unperformed service, identify the specific representation and what occurred. Keep the relevant listing, acknowledged correspondence and agreement. A captured catalogue alone cannot determine the remedy for a later transaction without considering its facts, responsible parties and applicable rights.
5. Clarify amounts, currency and repayment arrangements
Where repayment is agreed or required, confirm the payment reference, amount and currency, recipient and method. The dollar conversions shown for browsing are not a payment receipt or a new exchange-rate agreement. Banking or payment providers can have separate processing steps; no universal repayment time or unexplained deduction is promised by this page.
6. Distinguish appointments from binding commitments
Changing a proposed viewing does not necessarily change a separately signed property agreement. Explain exactly which arrangement you want to alter and ask for acknowledgement from the responsible party. Keep any confirmed appointment, accepted offer and executed agreement distinct so that the request is considered against the correct commitment.
7. Use an acknowledged channel for an existing transaction
A draft displayed on this site is not proof that a cancellation request reached the relevant recipient. Use the agreed contact route for the actual arrangement, preserve the records and state the issue that still needs attention. This information does not prevent an applicable consumer remedy, competent authority or dispute process from being used.
